Meet Our Artisans
Each piece is designed and curated in Montreal, Canada and handmade by artisans. We partner with women artisans and work together to create high quality, sustainable items from natural fibers like cotton, linen, wool and silk.
Each piece is truly a labour of love that will make you feel happy every-time you wear it.
Our Story
French Toast was born in 2021 as an online vintage store to give a second life to pieces that still held plenty of potential. We quickly expanded to Etsy, ASOS Marketplace and to in person pop ups. Today there are two sides to French Toast: Sustainable Handmade Clothing and Curated Vintage.
Our goal is to create a collection of hardworking pieces that add value and style to your wardrobe again and again. As long as clothes stay in circulation, they stay out of landfills. So let's continue the story. Let's take these pieces from yesterday's baguette and turn them into today's French Toast. Bon Appetit!
Meet Our Founder
Hi, my name is Porschia. Before starting French Toast Vintage I worked on the business side of the fashion industry for over 10 years for a number of brands in Paris, London and Canada including Christian Dior, Aldo, Levi's Strauss, Paige Denim and many more. From small brands to large corporations, every company had one thing in common: too much waste! I started French Toast as a solution to this problem. Creating high quality sustainable pieces to last a lifetime.
A little more about me: I love yoga, gardening, travel and, of course, hunting for cool vintage finds!
